This is one moment i could hardly find words to express the way i feel...so numb!
I recall meeting you in your Raymond Njoku residence sometimes in 1998 to discuss the world bank assisted textbooks being handled by Evans Brothers...your candid advise & assistance led me through, also at Badagry during your wedding...death!...why Gbegi ?...but because HE is unquestionable, God, YOU know best.
Please God...grant the entire family the grace to go through this difficult period.
Sleep well....sleep tight....Rest well !

Ha Gbegi...! When I woke up last week Sunday morning over here in America, I thought of you and smiled....I saw snapshots of you as a teenager in a white suit at Ikoyi Club....at a party in London...all through time and space, only to learn of the reality late in the evening. The news is still very difficult to comprehend but it is what it is, we all have to accept the fact that you have passed onto to eternity. You were pleasantly charming and I for my part will remember you well, I will remember you for good.
To Gbegi's Beloved Wife, Son, Parents, Siblings, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and entire extended Family - please accept my heartfelt condolences. God bless each and everyone of you for always. Please be comforted in the knowledge that Gbegi is now resting peacefully and joyfully in God's Everlasting Arms.
There goes a good one.....there goes a unique one...another friend of my youth gone....Mr. Gbegi Ojora! We will not see his kind again. The one and only Gbegi Ojora is now of blessed memory....so Gbegi, until we meet again in Heaven, rest in perfect peace in Jesus' Name, Amen.

When a human dies, he or she becomes historicised. A history that embodies good and bad deeds.......... Indeed your case is a history that embodies excellent deeds. You were a shining light to your contemporaries and a guiding light to younger generations like us. You bestrode the scene like a colosus, etched your name in gold and quickly left when the ovation started getting to a crescendo. Eventhough you left abruptly but it was quite an eventful life that radiated love to all who knew you and came to feel the tangible prescence of such love. May God bless your soul Gboyega and comfort those who grief in your sake. Amen.
